How does your treatment approach differ to other therapies / clinics?

We understand that every structure in the body is connected through fascia. Fascial therapy is a passive manipulation of the body’s deep fascia which aims to drain excess fluid and inflammation trapped within. By draining the fascia using this multi system approach – we are able to reduce pain, restore restriction and turn down protective reflexes that contribute to chronic pain states.

We also integrate corrective exercise into every treatment session. This helps to load the treated areas and create connections within your body.

Is your treatment painful?

Our hands on work is gentle and rarely painful. Occasionally, clients may feel drained or fatigued the following day as your body adjusts to the new changes. This can usually be avoided by drinking plenty of water and engaging in light movement. We’ll explain all of this in more detail when we see you.

Will I get treated during my initial assessment?

You sure will. We start your initial assessment with examining your movement and scanning your body for fascial restriction. We find a lot of value in continually re-assessing throughout your treatment, getting you off the table to walk around, assessing tissue changes, and seeking out the root cause of your dysfunction through ongoing assessment.

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. Physiotherapists are first contact practitioners and don’t require any referral from your GP. Depending on your pain or condition we may get in contact with your GP (with your permission) to ensure you receive the appropriate care.

How long are your sessions?

While many clinics have you in and out in 15-20 min, our initial and follow up sessions are 60 minutes. This ensures  we are able to assess and treat your body holistically.

How many sessions will I need?

We aim to have you pain free and moving better in as fewer treatments as possible. We will provide you with as many resources as possible to help you self manage your condition. Your recovery will be determined on a session by session basis.

How do I choose which therapist is best for me?

Our therapists each bring unique attributes to the team. We pride ourselves on continued collaboration with each other. In short, get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to advise you who is best suited to treat your pain / restriction.

Can your team help me if I'm not in pain?

Most definitely. We suggest don’t wait for an injury to build up. Our modern habits of being glued to the computer chair, lack of sleep and poor dieting does not allow our body to work or maintain balance the way it’s supposed to. If you allocate the time to address muscle aches and pains before they build up to something more chronic, you’re going to feel better and be able to do the things you love for longer.

What are your fees?

Our fees are subject to change at anytime. They can be found on our booking page. If you have private health, your level of cover will determine your rebates.

NDIS sessions follow a different pricing structure. Read about NDIS fees and funding.

Do you offer private health rebates / HICAPS?

We accepts HICAPS in clinic and at home. Your coverage will depend on your level of health insurance. Our session codes are below:

Clinic initial session – 500
Clinic single session – 506
Home visit initial session – 530
Home visit single session – 536

For home visits we accept HICAPS Mobile. Please note some smaller providers don’t offer this feature and you may be required to pay for your session in full and claim online. We’ll send you the required invoice if this is the case.

I have private health. Do I have to pay a gap?

Typically you will have to pay a gap to see us. Your coverage will depend on your health insurer. Please get in contact with your insurer for more information. Most providers have an online tool to calculate rebates.

Are you a preferred provider with my private health insurance?

No, and here’s why. Preferred providers typically offer much shorter session times at 15 – 20 min, leaving little time for a detailed assessment and treatment. This is because health insurers cap what a clinic can charge per session for it to remain gap free. We would much rather spend the extra time with you to truly understand your condition and have you feeling better, faster.

What experience do you have?

We stay up to date on latest medical research/treatment and our therapists regularly update their skills world-wide. Our therapists are highly skilled with extensive experience in sports, private practice and NDIS sectors. Our treatment approach restores balance by decreasing tension, reducing pain, aligning your posture, increasing your range of motion, and building your strength. We are passionate about continued education and provide our therapists with regular workshops to advance our skills and progress the industry collectively. One incredibly powerful technique we utilise is Counterstrain, a gentle non invasive hands on approach aimed at reducing pain and restoring movement.

What happens after the first booking is made?

We will send you a welcome email with our intake form and some important information regarding your first session. We may contact you via email or over the phone to confirm your session time.

Do you accept medicare / return to work / DVA claims?

We sure do. However you will be required to pay for your session cost upfront and claim through work cover, medicare etc.

What do I wear?

Loose fitting clothes are ideal so we can easily assess and examine the movement of the painful areas. This allows for a comprehensive assessment.

What should I bring?

Please provide any relevant medical information or scans such as X-Rays, CT, MRI, Ultrasound related to your condition.

How does home physiotherapy work?

We are fully equipped with everything to bring the clinic experience to your home. Once you have booked we will send you more information.

What is your quality guarantee?

We have a money back guarantee – if you aren’t satisfied with the level of care you receive (in clinic or at home), you will receive your next session for free. Simply let us know via email or phone call with an explanation (so we can improve our service) and we’ll sort out the rest.*

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee outcomes. The human body is incredibly complex and there are too many variables outside of our control which could be impacting ones health. What we can guarantee is we will give our best to help you or refer you to someone who can.

We offer Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services in clinic, at home and online in Adelaide, South Australia.

We also provide group sessions, hydrotherapy and hospital / aged care visits.

From the time of enquiry what is the turn around time?

Our wait times are dependent on therapist availably, location (if a home visit) and who is the best therapist suited to your condition. For physiotherapy we generally aim to have you booked in within 1-2 weeks. For occupational therapy times can vary. Please get in contact with us for specific wait times.

Do you have a waitlist?

Occasionally we have a short wait list for specific therapists. If you are after an urgent assessment / therapy please get contact us and we will try our best to accomodate your needs.

Do you have female therapists?

Visit our therapist’s page. If you have a preference (language, gender etc) please let us know in our referral form.

What happens after the first booking is made?

We promise to get in contact with you within 24 hours.  From there we will ask for the necessary details and confirm your booking.

What happens during the first session?

We will ask questions relating to goals, hobbies and interests. We may also ask questions about your condition and your abilities. We will then conduct a series of assessments focusing on functional tasks to create a treatment plan. You will also receive a welcome pack and management plan outing your goals and progress.
